• Adventures in Kathmandu valley

Welcome to this melting pot of cultures, colours and cool stuff (unfortunately also carbon pollution…). We recommend a massage at Seeing Hands (blind masseurs) after arrival, to let your body catch up with you! The evening will include a tasteful Nepali dinner, served in a Heritage building turned into a restaurant, and you are good to adventure the valley!

You cannot be in Kathmandu without exploring its unique heritage sites, like Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath and Boudha. But, take the back alleys, explore the hidden secrets, enjoy lunch at a tiny family owned Tibetan restaurant and get to know more about the Nepali culture at the same time!

Visit a small village, Thimi, to learn about pottery making and test your own skills as a potter followed by a lunch at an organic farm. Continue on to UNESCO-listed Bhaktapur where you can do Bhaktapur on WHEELS. Yep –cover more and be active! Get started at dawn to see the town wake up to another day! Meet the “King of yoghurt”, paper fabric, the wood carvers and simply observe people.

Time for some adrenaline – lets go rafting! Half day, pure fun in river Bhote Kosi with picnic lunch and overnight in luxurious safari tents with plunge pool, sauna, and hammock…

Well back in Kathmandu, learn how to cook the local cuisine by a local expert.
