• The Edge of Transylvania – where old traditions are still alive

Travel back in time where you pass horse and cart frequently and the daily news are shared on the bench with your neighbor. The small villages are nestled side by side, nicely surrounded by the beautiful nature and cultural landscape. Enjoy the hills while counting the haystacks...

You can choose if you want to stay in a guesthouse or in a traditional home, which is quite an experience and brings you even closer to the traditional way of living.

Visit local farms where they use manpower or horsepower to work their land. They are quite self-sufficient here, and what they dont grow themselves they will find at the local market.

While enjoying the local culture you can also take part in a variety of activities. Like a hike in the beautiful nature. Several thematic hikes have been created for you to enjoy ecotourism at its best. Bicycles are available as well, so enjoy visiting the villages in an eco-friendly way. The underground world is amazing, and you can visit some of the caves. As part of your visit, get to know the local handicraft and try it out your self. Under supervision by the locals.

Food is a big subject here. Most of the food is slow food, and we invite you to learn how to cook as a local in a traditional home. Get to know "grandma´s secret ingredients" and discover that chili-jam actually is really nice!

Dont be surprise if the neighbor invites you over for a plate of fresh tomatoes, sweet corn accompanied by the local drink palinka... Experience hospitality at its best!
