We consider ourselves to be a portal or a gateway into the world of responsible tourism. Over the years, we have moved from being only a portal that offers unique experiences around the world.

Today the portal maintains local storytelling as a means for inspiration to try and influence travelers to travel responsibly. It has developed a software that helps small tour operators sell better, do scientific costings and measure sustainability in travel. It consults around the world, helping destinations develop more sustainable destinations, and also gives back in the form of charity.

So from a portal offering just experiences, we now offer a full range of services and products.

Linda started the company in 2007, after finishing her Masters in Responsible Tourism from Leeds in the UK. Raj joined the company in 2016 as a partner.

As we move forward to utilise our years of experience and forward the concepts of responsible tourism, we partner with exceptionally talented people, who are best suited in their areas of expertise.

So while the two of us are behind all this, it does take several people to make it all happen.

We have a very talented and dedicated team in Norway, and experts working from Nepal, the US and Ireland. We also work with handpicked ground handlers in all the countries we offer trips in.

Now with the storytelling at resonate.travel – the family has grown to local writers in very many countries.

We are officially registered in Norway, but serve from around the world.
