Very early on in our journey, we had realised that the only way to really change travel behavior would be by being transparent in our operations. We have made that a reality now.
STOMP – Sustainable Tourism Operations Management Program, but in a more fun understanding, the footprint we leave when we stomp around – is an online software we have ideated and developed, that helps small tour operators sell smarter, do scientific costing, and at the same time maintain transparency in operations – one of the key requirements to be sustainable.
The software produced a wonderful selling itinerary with all the bells and whistles, but also presents each itinerary with a sustainability receipt, so travellers can see the impact of their travels on the local economy, environment and the community.
